Coronal Mass Ejection
Catalog: M2M_CATALOG
Start Time: 2025-03-11T14:00Z ( SOHO: LASCO/C2 )
All Detecting Spacecrafts:
SOHO: LASCO/C2
SOHO: LASCO/C3
STEREO A: SECCHI/COR2
Activity ID: 2025-03-11T14:00:00-CME-001 (version 2)
Source Location: N05W47
Active Region Number: 14024
Note Keyword:
Faint: Faint event; may affect type assignment
FF: Event fails/disappears before exiting COR2
Source Signature Keyword:
FLR: Flare
Morphology Keyword:
J: Jet
Note: Super narrow jet (with the 2 degree half-width or so), seen only in SOHO LASCO C2 and faintly in a few early timestamps of C3. Not discernible in STEREO A COR2, likely because of its faintness. Likely associated with the M1.1 flare from AR 14024 (N5W47).

Event Type Catalog
Measurement TypeCME measurement type: Leading Edge (LE), Shock Front (SH), Right Hand Boundary (RHB), Left Hand Boundary (LHB), Black/White Boundary (BW), Prominence Core (COR), Disconnection Front (DIS), Trailing Edge (TE).
Prime?"primary flag" which is either True or False. If there are multiple CME analysis entries for a single CME, this flag would indicate which analysis is considered most accurate per measurement type. This is a helpful flag if you would like to download only one most accurate CME analysis per CME per Measurement Type

CME Analysis M2M_CATALOG LE true SWPC_CAT 47.0 9.0 1171.0 O 10.0 2025-03-11T16:43Z Very approximate analysis as this jet was measured with the 10 deg halfwidth using the one-coronagraph method in swpc_cat, based only on SOHO imagery and on the location of the associated flare. While the jet is extremely narrow (<2 degrees half-width, lowest half-width setting in swpc_cat that we have to use is 10 degrees). Not modeled Mary Aronne on 2025-03-13T12:11Z
